About the Symposium
The CFD Division of the Aeronautical Society of India has been organizing the annual CFD symposium since its inception in 1998. The event has matured into a national forum for CFD researchers, developers and practitioners. The symposium provides an opportunity to review the current state of the art in CFD and its applications, exchange ideas and to enhance co-operation between CFD researchers in India.

The CFD community has realized the need to document the accumulated CFD knowledge at the national level and the proceedings of the past symposia represent the same. Many design organizations and academic institutions in India have benefited from this forum in building CFD capability. A large number of CFD researchers, developers, and users from leading R&D organisations, academic institutions and industries participate in the symposium.
